- Inspected and verified the concern. Utilizing infra red thermometer we tested and monitor the temperatures throughout the system – found the temperature into the heater core is good but the temperature coming out of the heater core is significantly lower. This indicated that the heater core is restricted. Attempted to flush the heater core to clear out restriction but made no change. Recommend replacing the heater core.
- Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – noted the oil level at minimum on the dipstick Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. – recommend a battery service due to corrosion Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34 and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
