    • Road tested vehicle. – noted a noise from the rear passenger side when hitting bumps Changed oil and filter. – monitor slight leak at the oil pan Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – failed. – recommend replacing the battery Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 14.19v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 30°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. – found the fan belt starting to fray – recommend replacing the fan belts Inspected filters and ignition components. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 8mm Right front – 8mm Left rear – 6mm Right rear – 6mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. – found the rear control arm bushings worn – recommend replacing the control arms Inspected exhaust system condition.
    • Installed new serpentine fan belt as needed. Road tested.

    • Road tested vehicle. Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – Good. Performed starter draw test -10.73v- within specifications. Tested charging system output -14.20v- within specifications. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. –Tested antifreeze protection – good to -25°F. Technician Note: Due for service at 90,000 miles. – Recommendation: Coolant system is due to be serviced. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. –Spark Plugs/Ignition Wires Technician Note: Due at 75,000 miles – Recommendation: Your vehicle is due to have the spark plugs replaced. –Fuel Induction Technician Note: During normal everyday driving, deposits accumulate on the throttle body, intake valves, and in the combustion chambers. Symptoms include: loss of power, rough idle, hesitation, misfire, pinging, knocking, fuel mileage and hard starting. – Recommendation: INDUCTION SERVICE – We recommend performing fuel induction service as part of normal maintenance. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front -6mm Right front -6mm –Rear Brakes Technician Note: Inspected brake pad thickness and found pads were at or below minimum specification. This is a potential safety concern. 3mm pad thickness remaining. – Recommendation: Your rear brakes require replacement. We recommend replacing the brake pads and resurfacing the rotors. –Rear Rotors – Recommendation: MACHINE REAR ROTORS – We recommend turning rear rotors on our brake lathe due to concerns found on inspection. Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition.
    • RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
    • Removed all necessary components and installed a new set of spark plugs as needed. Reinstalled all components and road tested.
    • Removed necessary components and performed upper air intake cleaning procedure. Reassembled and made any necessary adjustments as required. Road tested engine performance.
    • Power flushed and cleaned cooling system. Restored PH level and coolant protection. Protection good to -35.
    • Replaced rear brake pads and resurfaced rear brake rotors. Road tested and verified the repairs.

    • Road tested vehicle. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – metal to metal Right front – metal to metal Left rear – 3mm Right rear – 3mm – recommend replacing the front brake pads and rotors – recommend replacing the rear brake pads and resurface the rotors Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid.
    • Performed AAA inspection. – noted the valve cover gaskets are leaking – recommend replacing the gaskets Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the transmission fluid very dark – recommend a transmission fluid service – found the power steering fluid dirty – recommend a power steering flush Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. – recommend replacing the wiper blades Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – poor. – recommend a coolant flush to restore protection Inspected tire pressures and depth.
    • Replaced front brake pads and front brake rotors. Road tested.
    • Replaced rear brake pads and resurfaced rear brake rotors. Road tested.
    • Power flushed and cleaned cooling system. Restored PH level and coolant protection. Protection good to -35.
    • Flushed and bled power steering system. Inspected system for leaks – none evident at this time.
    • Removed and cleaned valve covers. Cleaned and prepared gasket surfaces. Reinstalled valve covers and replaced valve cover gaskets. Road tested and rechecked for leaks.
    • Installed new wiper blades as needed.
    • Removed the driver door panel to access the window motor assembly. Tested and found the regulator has failed. Recommend replacing the window motor/regulator assembly. Removed the remaining components and the regulator assembly. Installed a new regulator assembly (includes new motor) and reinstalled all components. Tested and verified proper operation.
    • Drained and refilled the transmission fluid as needed. Road tested.

    • Inspected and verified the concern. Noted after installing a new fuse and attempting to start the fuse fails immediately. Inspected wiring and connections to the starter – found no visual concerns. We suspect the starter has internal fault. Recommend replacing the starter and retest. Removed faulty starter assembly. Cleaned connections and installed a remanufactured starter as needed. Retested and verified proper operation – the vehicle has started countless times without incident. Road tested and verified repair.

    • Removed faulty sensor. Cleaned connection. Installed a new sensor as needed. Scope tested sensor and verified proper operation. Cleared code and reset the computer. Road tested and verified repair – fuel trims reading within specifications.

Inspected tire pressures and depth. – found the front tires are down to the secondary rubber on the inside edges – found the rear tires showing the cords – recommend replacing the tires ASAP and perform alignment Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition.
    • Scan tested system and found code #P2177 system too lean off idle Bank 1. Performed visual inspection – no visual concerns found. Scope tested, monitored and noticed the mass air flow sensor readings are below specifications, this can cause incorrect fuel trim readings. Recommend replacing the mass air flow sensor and continue testing, if needed.

    • Inspected compressor drive belt, hoses and connections. Evacuated and vacuum tested system. – found the system to be low on arrival Added refrigerant and dye as needed to perform halogen leak test. – we can see evidence of leaking from the condenser Recommend taking to Mazda for warranty repair. Left the system fully charged at this time.
    • Removed necessary components and performed upper air intake cleaning procedure. Reassembled and made any necessary adjustments as required. Road tested engine performance.
