- Inspected and verified the concern. Inspected and found the battery cables slightly loose – tightened the cable ends as needed. Tested and found both batteries fail load test. Tested alternator output – good at 14.06v. Full charged the batteries and retested – still failed. Installed 2 new ACDelco batteries with high reserve capacity. Tested and found the truck now starts right up. Allowed the truck to sit overnight, tested and it started right up. No further recommendations at this time.
