Services Performed
- Road tested vehicle. – noticed slight pulsation while braking – noted the TPMS light is on Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the brake fluid to have excessive moisture – recommend a brake system flush Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – failed. – recommend replacing the battery (warranty) Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 14.86v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 60°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 5mm, rotor slightly warped Right front – 5mm, rotor slightly warped Left rear – 3mm Right rear – 3mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – found a screw in the right front tire and the pressure is very low – recommend a tire repair – rotated the tires as needed Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition.
- RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
- Inspected all hydraulic components for leaks – none. Drew brake fluid from master cylinder. Flushed and bled entire brake hydraulic system until clean. Filled and bled brakes as needed. Road tested.
- Dismounted and repaired tire as needed. Tested and verified no further leak. Remounted tire.
- Replaced front brake pads and resurfaced front brake rotors. Road tested.
- Replaced rear brake pads and rear brake rotors. Road tested.
- Installed a new ACDelco battery and cleaned the battery cable ends as needed.
