Services Performed
- Road tested vehicle. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 4mm Right front – 4mm –Front Rotors Technician Note: Runout is @ .004" Max spec is .002" Not Machinable due to rust and Pitted on inside of rotor where pad rides. – Recommendation: Replace front brake pads and rotors. Left rear – 7mm Right rear – 7mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. – Recommendation: BRAKE FLUID SERVICE
- Changed engine oil and filter. Lubed chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and conditions. Topped off windshield washer fluid as needed. Tested operation of all external lights. Inspected belts and hoses. Inspected air filter. Inspected battery cables and hold down. Inspected tires for wear and proper inflation. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34°F and Ph level good at this time. –Inspected wiper blades. – The rear wiper blade is worn and should be replaced. –*Technician Note: Center support bearing bushing is half way torn. Rec replacing now to prevent break down on road. -* Recommendation: Driveshaft replacement.
- RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
- Replaced front brake pads and front brake rotors. Road tested and verified the repairs.
- The technician removed all parts necessary to gain access to the driveshaft assembly. Removed the driveshaft and installed anew driveshaft assembly. Reassembled all necessary parts and verified the repair on the test drive.
- Installed a new rear wiper blade as needed.
- Inspected all hydraulic components for leaks – none. Drew brake fluid from master cylinder. Flushed and bled entire brake hydraulic system until clean. Filled and bled brakes as needed. Road tested.
