- Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the brake fluid dirty – recommend a brake system flush Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. – found the engine air filter very dirty – recommend replacing the filter – have the timing belt and spark plugs been replaced? Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 70°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
- Scan tested the control module for stored trouble codes – found code #P0154 – B2S1 heater malfunction. Scope tested utilizing factory scan tool and found no activity from the sensor. The sensor has failed. Recommend replacing the air fuel ration sensor and retest operation. NOTE: Acura by design turns on the AWD light when the engine light comes on – there is nothing wrong with the AWD system, however if the repair is not made the AWD system does shut down with the engine light on.
