- Road tested vehicle. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 3mm, rotor is too thin to resurface Right front – 3mm, rotor is too thin to resurface Left rear – 4mm, rotor is too thin to resurface Right rear – 3mm, rotor is too thin to resurface – recommend replacing the front brake pads and rotors – recommend replacing the rear brake pads and rotors Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. – found the brake fluid to have excessive moisture – recommend a brake system flush
- Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the brake fluid to have excessive moisture – recommend a brake system flush Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. – found the cabin air filter dirty – recommend replacing the filter Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 35°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
- Replaced front brake pads and front brake rotors. Road tested.
- Replaced rear brake pads and rear brake rotors. Road tested.
- Inspected all hydraulic components for leaks – none. Drew brake fluid from master cylinder. Flushed and bled entire brake hydraulic system until clean. Filled and bled brakes as needed. Road tested.
- Disassembled components as necessary. Removed the cabin air filter, cleaned housing and installed a new filter.
