    Services Performed
    • Road tested vehicle. – noted the engine light is on – scan tested and found code #P0053 – oxygen sensor, #P0300 – random cylinder misfire detected and #P0449 – EVAP system – recommend to diagnose these concerns Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). – found the engine oil cooler lines and the transmission cooler line to be leaking – recommend replacing the cooler lines – noted the power steering line seeping (pump to hydroboost) – recommend to monitor Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the brake fluid at 3% moisture – recommend a brake system flush – recommend to service the transfer case with the correct fluid Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – failed. – recommend replacing the battery Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 14.14v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 34°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. – found the left front turn signal light to be out – replaced the light bulb as needed Inspected fan belts and hoses. – found the serpentine fan belt stretched and tensioner weak – recommend replacing the serpentine fan belt and tensioner Inspected filters and ignition components. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 8mm Right front – 8mm Left rear – 5mm outside pad, 7mm inside pad Right rear – 5mm outside pad, 7mm inside pad Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – rotated the tires today as needed – noted the tires are noisy while driving on highway Inspected steering and suspension components. – found the right inner tie rod have excessive movement – recommend replacing the inner and outer tie rods due to age and mileage – will need to perform alignment after tie rod replacement Inspected exhaust system condition. – found the left side exhaust manifold missing the rear bolt and exhaust is burning the firewall area – recommend to repair exhaust manifold
    • RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
    • Installed a new ACDelco battery and cleaned the battery cable ends as needed.
    • Installed new serpentine fan belt and tensioner as needed. Road tested.
    • Drained and refilled the transfer case with the proper fluid as needed. Road tested.
    • Removed failed oil cooler lines. Cleaned contaminated areas. Installed new cooler lines as needed and road tested. Reinspected for leaks – no further leaks detected at this time.
    • Inspected all hydraulic components for leaks – none. Drew brake fluid from master cylinder. Flushed and bled entire brake hydraulic system until clean. Filled and bled brakes as needed. Road tested.
