Services Performed
  • Inspected cooling system level and topped off with water as needed for testing purposes. Tested radiator cap for proper operation. Pressure tested cooling system and inspected for leaks. Found coolant leaking from a pinhole in the inlet heater hose at the heater core inlet stem. Need to replace the inlet heater hose and retest the system.
  • The technician removed all parts necessary to gain access to the heater core supply hose. Removed the heater core supply hose and found the outlet heater hose is leaking at the lower connection. Replaced both heater hoses and reassembled all necessary parts. Topped off the cooling system and pressure tested again. Found the engine cooling temperature sensor seal is leaking. Replaced the coolant temperature sensor seal and retested the system. The system now holds pressure as designed. Verified the repair on the test drive.
