- Inspected and verified the concern. Tested and found the battery in a low state of charge. Fully charged the battery to continue diagnosis. Tested and found the battery fails load test. Installed a new ACDelco battery and cleaned the cable ends as needed. Tested and found the car now starts properly. Tested the starter draw – within specifications. Tested the alternator output – passed at 14.27v. Tested and found the parasitic drain is within specifications. Started many times without concern.
