- The technician verified the customers concern. Performed inspection and found the drive belt tensioner failed and damaged the water pump pulley. Removed the faulty tensioner and water pump pulley. Checked all accessory rotating assemblies and installed a new water pump pulley, tensioner and belt. Reassembled all necessary parts and verified the repairs on the test drive.
