- Road tested vehicle. Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – Noted some oil leakage from the valve cover gaskets. Recommend to monitor. – Noted the power steering fluid is discolored, recommend servicing. Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – passed . – Noted the terminals are corroded, recommend servicing. Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output -14.4 v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34 °F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. – Noted the front marker lamps are inop, recommend replacement. – Noted the cabin air filter is getting dirty. Inspected fan belts and hoses. – Noted the serpentine drive belt is cracking. Inspected filters and ignition components. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 8mm Right front – 8mm Left rear – 5mm Right rear – 5mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – Tires are @9/32`s tread depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. – Noted some noise from the right rear strut assembly. Recommend to monitor. Inspected exhaust system condition.
