Services Performed
- Inspected and verified the concern. Inspected the front steering and suspension. Noted the steering damper is bent. Disconnected the damper, tested and found the Jeep now turns to the right. Recommend replacing the steering damper and perform alignment.
- Installed a new steering damper as needed. During the alignment attempt we found the tie rod has also been bent. Will need to replace the tie rod and them attempt to align. Removed the necessary components and the damaged tie rod. Installed a new tie rod and reinstalled all components.
- Performed wheel alignment and made necessary adjustments. Road tested.
- Performed AAA inspection. – noted the oil change light and the TPMS light are on Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the brake fluid to have excessive moisture – recommend a brake system flush Inspected operation of all external lights. – found both front marker light bulbs to be out – replaced the light bulbs as needed Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. – recommend replacing the wiper blades Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 30°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – recommend a tire rotation – noted the parking brake does not work
