- Road tested vehicle. Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. –Changing oil in your vehicles differential is just as important as changing your engine's oil, and for the same reason. Without proper lubrication, metal-to-metal contact wears down surfaces and creates heat from friction, which inevitably weakens the gears and leads to failure. This oil should be changed every 30,000 to 50,000 miles. – Recommendation: Front and rear differential services. – Your vehicle's transmission fluid is due for service.
