- Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. –The transmission fluid is discolored and likely contaminated. – Recommendation: Transmission fluid service recommended. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. –Positive terminal has corrosion build-up. – Recommendation: Highly recommend battery terminal cleaning service to prevent wiring harness replacement. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. – During our inspection we noticed that your front wiper blades are worn and should be replaced. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Drive Belts –Technician Note: Cracks found on belt. – Recommendation: Serpentine belt replacement. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth. INDUCTION SERVICE – We recommend performing fuel induction service as part of normal maintenance.
- The technician verified the customers concern on the test drive. Raised the vehicle for inspection. Inspected the front steering and suspension. Found the right front lower stabilizer link bolt was loose. Tightened all four front stabilizer link bolts and verified the repair on the test drive.
- Drained and refilled transmission as needed following the procedures. Cycled the transmission and performed again. Verified the repair on the test drive. Rechecked for leaks – none.
