- Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
- The technician verified the customers concern. performed circuit testing. Checked for power at the multi-function switch. No power at pin G, verified the STRG CTLS fuse is good in the battery junction box. Performed ohm testing and found 0 ohms resistance from the multi-function switch to the C202 at the base of the steering column and O.L. from C202 to junction box pin 12. Found a previous installed overlay that was for a Lo Jack possibly. Made the necessary repairs and installed the correct fuse. The turn signals all work now.
