    • Installed new serpentine fan belt as needed. Road tested.
    • Replaced front brake pads and front brake rotors. Road tested.
    • RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
    • Road tested vehicle. Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the transmission and power steering fluids dirty – recommend a transmission flush and power steering flush Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – passed. Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 13.99v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -30 but the Ph level is too low. – recommend a coolant flush to restore protection Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. – recommend replacing the wiper blades Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. – found the serpentine fan belt cracking badly – recommend replacing the fan belt Inspected filters and ignition components. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 3mm, rotor is warped Right front – 3mm, rotor is warped Left rear – 7mm Right rear – 7mm – recommend replacing the front brake pads and rotors Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. – found the rear shocks leaking – recommend replacing the rear shocks Inspected exhaust system condition.

    • Performed AAA inspection. – found the power steering rack, valve cover gasket and the VTEC solenoid leaking – recommend repairing the leaks Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the transmission, brake and power steering fluids dirty – recommend a transmission flush, brake flush and power steering flush Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34 and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – tires are at 4/32"
    • Removed failed sensor. Cleaned connection. Installed a new sensor as needed. Scope tested sensor and verified proper operation. Cleared code and reset the computer. Road tested and verified repair.
    • Scan tested system and found code #P0325 – knock sensor fault. Performed visual inspection – no visual concerns found. Scope tested and found no signal from the knock sensor. Recommend replacing the knock sensor.

    • Disassembled components as necessary. Removed the cabin air filter, cleaned housing and installed a new filter.
    • Drained transmission and torque converter. Flushed torque converter, transmission and cooler lines. Refilled transmission. Road tested.
    • Inspected all hydraulic components for leaks – none. Drew brake fluid from master cylinder. Flushed and bled entire brake hydraulic system until clean. Filled and bled brakes as needed. Road tested.
    • Installed new wiper blades as needed.
    • RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
    • Road tested vehicle. Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. –Found the transmission fluid is dirty. Recommend a transmission service be performed. Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – good. Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – 14.28v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. –Found the front wiper blades are worn, recommend replacing the front wiper blades. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. –Found the cabin air filter is dirty. Recommend cabin air filter replacement. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front -12mm Right front -12mm Left rear -5mm Right rear -5mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. –Found the brake fluid is dirty, recommend a brake fluid flush service. Inspected tire pressures and depth. –Found the tires are all at 5/32nds of inch remaining tread. Recommend tire replacement before winter. Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition.

  • 2008 Honda Element

    • Drained cooling system. Removed necessary components, the fan belt and the timing cover. Cleaned and prepared the gasket surfaces. Replaced the timing cover gasket and resealed. Also replaced the valve cover gasket as needed. Reassembled, refilled the cooling system. Road tested and rechecked for leaks – none at this time.
