Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the transmission fluid discolored – recommend a transmission flush Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – passed, battery is 6 years old. – recommend a battery service due to corrosion Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 13.96v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 25°F and Ph level good at this time. – Toyota recommends changing the antifreeze at 10 years Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. – found the cabin air filter very dirty – recommend replacing the filter – recommend a fuel induction cleaning Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 5mm Right front – 5mm Left rear – 4mm Right rear – 4mm – recommend to clean and adjust the rear brakes Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition.

    • Disassembled components as necessary. Removed the cabin air filter, cleaned housing and installed a new filter.
    • Drained transmission and torque converter. Flushed torque converter, transmission and cooler lines. Refilled transmission. Road tested.

    • Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. –Transmission Fluid Technician Note: The transmission fluid is discolored and likely contaminated. – Recommendation: Your vehicle's transmission fluid is due for service. –Power Steering Fluid Technician Note: Powers Steering fluid is dirty/contaminated. – Recommendation: Power steering fluid is due to be flushed soon based on vehicle's mileage. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. –Air Filter Technician Note: Air Filter is Dirty – Recommendation: Our inspection showed your air filter is due for replacement. –Cabin Air Filter Technician Note: Cabin Air filter Dirty and needs replaced – Recommendation: CABIN AIR FILTER; –Engine Coolant Technician Note: Coolant Tested at -25 – Recommendation: Coolant system is due to be serviced in the near future. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
    • The technician verified the customers concern. Performed inspection and found the drive belt is jumping. Performed further inspection and found the alternator shaft has excessive play causing the pulley to wobble. Upon further inspection found the air conditioning compressor stays engaged. Removed the power to the A/C compressor and it still stays engaged. Recommend replacing the alternator, A/C compressor and drive belt.
    • Removed serpentine fan belt and failed alternator assembly. Cleaned connections and installed a remanufactured alternator and new drive belt as needed. Reinstalled serpentine belt. Retested alternator output and verified the repair on the test drive.
    • Disassembled components as necessary. Removed the failed compressor, receiver dryer and related hoses as necessary. Flushed the system and installed replacement components. Charged system to the rated capacity and leak tested. Performed function test and vent tested the system.
    • Disassembled components as necessary. Removed the cabin air filter, cleaned housing and installed a new filter.
    • Installed a new air filter as needed.
    • Drained transmission and torque converter and removed transmission pan. Flushed torque converter, transmission and cooler lines. Replaced transmission filter and pan gasket. Reinstalled transmission pan. Refilled transmission. Road tested. Re-inspected for leaks – none at this time.
    • Flushed and bled power steering system. Inspected system for leaks – none evident at this time.
    • Power flushed and cleaned cooling system. Restored PH level and coolant protection. Protection good to -35.

Technician Note: Due at 100,000 miles Coolant Tested at -25 – Recommendation: Coolant system is due to be serviced in the near future. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. –Fuel Induction Technician Note: During normal everyday driving, deposits accumulate on the throttle body, intake valves, and in the combustion chambers. Symptoms include: loss of power, rough idle, hesitation, misfire, pinging, knocking, fuel mileage and hard starting. – Recommendation: INDUCTION SERVICE – We recommend performing fuel induction service as part of normal maintenance. This includes cleaning the throttle body. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front -5mm Right front -5mm -Technician Note: Rotors glazed and grooved 5mm pad thickness remaining. Left rear -6mm Right rear -6mm –Technician Note: Rotors glazed, 6mm pad thickness remaining. Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition.
    • RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT AND MESSAGE
    • Drained transmission and torque converter and removed transmission pan. Flushed torque converter, transmission and cooler lines. Replaced transmission filter and pan gasket. Reinstalled transmission pan. Refilled transmission. Road tested. Re-inspected for leaks – none at this time.
