We tested the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. We found that the fluid there contains 4% or higher moisture content. – Recommendation: Brake flush recommended. – Technician Note: Oil leaks are present. – Technician Note: Transmission fluid leak. – Technician Note: Oil levels were good hard to tell where some oil is leaking from. Topped off windshield washer fluid as needed. Tested operation of all external lights. – 3rd brake light bulb is out. Inspected belts and hoses. Inspected air filter. – Technician Note: Stripped screw unable to check Inspected battery cables and hold down. –We performed a battery test and your battery was below the minimum voltage Vehicle battery failed Midtronics testing. – Recommendation: Replacement of your battery is recommended. Inspected tires for wear and proper inflation. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -30°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades. – During our inspection we noticed that your wiper blades are worn and should be replaced.

Road tested and verified the concern. Inspected the front steering and suspension components – found the left front lower ball joint to have excessive movement – this is a safety concern. Inspected the right side and found slight movement. Recommend replacing both lower control arms, perform alignment (if needed) and retest.
Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. – found the engine air filter getting dirty – recommend replacing the filter next service Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 40°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
Disassembled as needed and removed the faulty front lower control arms. Cleaned sockets and installed new control arms as needed. Reassembled all components. Tested and found no further noise present. Road tested.

Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – passed. Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 13.97v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 25°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. – recommend replacing the front and rear wiper blades Inspected operation of all external lights. – found the license plate lights are out – recommend replacing the lights Inspected fan belts and hoses. – when was the timing belt replaced? Inspected filters and ignition components. – found the cabin air filter very dirty – recommend replacing the filter – recommend a fuel induction cleaning if not done in the last 30,000 miles Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 8mm Right front – 8mm Left rear – 5mm Right rear – 5mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – found a nail in the right front tire – recommend to repair the tire – rotated the tires today as needed Inspected steering and suspension components. – found the front struts worn – recommend replacing the struts and align – found the front sway bar links bad – recommend replacing the links – found the power steering rack boots split open, one side of the rack is seeping – recommend replacing the power steering rack assembly and perform alignment Inspected exhaust system condition.
