    • Inspected and rotated the tires as needed. Note: The tires that were on the front have inside edge wear down to 4/32". When tires are replaced we recommend an alignment.

    • Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. –Wiper Blades-Washers-Operation Technician Note: Worn. Streaking – Recommendation: WIPER BLADES; Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. –Drive belt gone. –Tested antifreeze protection – Very low due to coolant leak. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
    • The technician verified the customers concern. Performed inspection and found the serpentine belt tensioner has failed and chewed up the belt. The belt remnants have been wedged into the surrounding components. Recommend removal of the belt remnants, cleaning of the area and replacement of the belt and tensioner assembly.
    • Inspected cooling system level and topped off with water as needed for testing purposes. Tested radiator cap for proper operation. Pressure tested cooling system and inspected for leaks. Found the water distribution pipe assembly has burst. Inspected hoses and found the hoses are soft and degrading. Recommend replacing the water distribution pipe assembly, Thermostat assembly and all needed hoses.
    • Installed new serpentine fan belt, tensioner and cleaned as needed. Road tested and verified the repairs.
    • The technician removed all parts necessary to gain access to the affected cooling system parts/ components. Removed the water distribution pipe/ outlet, cleaned the mating surfaces and installed a new water distribution pipe assembly. Removed the thermostat and found the thermostat was broken. Cleaned the mating surfaces and installed a new thermostat, thermostat housing assembly and thermostat gasket. Removed the upper and lower radiator hoses, installed new upper and lower radiator hoses. Removed the heater hoses and installed new heater hoses. Removed the bypass hose and installed a new water bypass hose. Removed the overflow hose and installed a new coolant overflow hose and clamp. Filled the system with coolant and bled. Verified the repairs on the test drive. Rechecked for leaks- none found.
    • Changed engine oil and filter. Lubed chassis points (where applicable). Topped off windshield washer fluid as needed.

    • Disassembled components as necessary. Removed the cabin air filter, cleaned housing and installed a new filter.
    • Removed all necessary components and installed a new set of spark plugs as needed. Reinstalled all components and road tested.

    • Road tested vehicle. – noticed a slightly rough idle – noticed the steering column intermediate shaft is clunking – recommend replacing the intermediate shaft Changed oil and filter. Lubricated chassis points (where applicable). Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected battery, cables, hold down and load tested battery – passed. Performed starter draw test – within specifications. Tested charging system output – passed at 14.61v. Performed voltage drop test at battery cables and power lead. Inspected cooling system level and topped off as needed. Tested radiator cap for proper operation and pressure tested the system for leaks. Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 35°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. – recommend replacing the wiper blades Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. Performed complete brake system inspection. Inspected exhaust system condition. – found an exhaust leak on the drivers side manifold, found a broken manifold bolt – recommend to extract broken bolt and replace with new

    • Inspected and verified the concern. Performed charging system test and found the battery is bad – the battery is 3 years old and at only 1 volt and will not take a charge. Recommend replacing the battery and continue testing, if necessary. Installed a new ACDelco battery as needed. Tested and found the van starting properly. After sitting overnight, we tested and found the van does not start. Tested and found good power to the starter but the starter will not engage. Tapped on the starter and the van started. Recommend replacing the starter assembly and test.
    • Performed AAA inspection. – oil change is due in 500 miles according to the sticker – found the oil dipstick broken – noted the license plate tabs are expired Inspected all fluid levels and condition. – found the brake fluid contaminated – recommend a brake system flush – found the power steering fluid dirty – recommend a power steering flush – found the transmission fluid dirty and the lower oil cooler line is leaking – recommend replacing the cooler line and perform transmission service and flush Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. – found the air filter dirty – recommend replacing the filter Tested antifreeze protection – good to – 30°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth. – noted the left inner and outer tie rods have play – recommend replacing the front inner and outer tie rods and perform alignment
    • Removed failed starter assembly. Cleaned connections and installed a remanufactured starter as needed. Retested and verified proper operation. Road tested and verified repair.
    • Changed the engine oil and filter as needed.
