    • Disassembled components as necessary to gain access to the right rear wheel bearing assembly. Removed failed hub assembly and installed new assembly as necessary. Verified the repair on the test drive.
    • Inspected all hydraulic components for leaks – none. Drew brake fluid from master cylinder. Flushed and bled entire brake hydraulic system until clean. Filled and bled brakes as needed. Road tested.
    • Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. –Found the brake fluid has 3% or higher moisture content. – Recommend a brake fluid flush service. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth.
    • The technician verified the customers concern on the test drive. Removed the right rear wheel for further inspection. The brake looks good but the wheel bearing has failed. Recommend replacing the right rear wheel bearing and hub assembly.

    • Drained transmission fluid, removed supports and crossmembers as necessary to gain access to transmission assembly. Removed faulty transmission assembly, flushed cooler and lines. Installed replacement used transmission and torque converter assembly, filled to proper level and programmed as needed. Road tested and verified proper operation.
    • Performed AAA inspection. Inspected all fluid levels and condition. Inspected operation of all external lights. Inspected battery, cables and hold down. Inspected wiper blades, washer fluid, horn and mirrors. Inspected belts and hoses and air filter. Tested antifreeze protection – good to -34°F and Ph level good at this time. Inspected tire pressures and depth. –Found the tire pressure monitoring system light is on.
    • The technician verified the customers concern. The transmission will not even engage in reverse now. Performed systems checks. The transmission fluid is dark and dirty with contaminants. The reverse drum most likely failed and there is metal in the system. Recommend transmission and torque converter replacement.

    • Inspected – we did not hear any noise on cold start but we could smell excessive exhaust from engine area. Removed covers as needed for further inspection. Inspected and found 2 of the 3 bolts loose on the turbo where it mounts to the exhaust manifold, causing exhaust leak. We were able to access and tighten the bolts as needed. Tested again and heard no noise and no further exhaust smell.

Inspected fan belts and hoses. Inspected filters and ignition components. – recommend replacing the fuel filter and perform fuel induction cleaning Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Left front – 4mm Right front – 4mm Left rear – 4mm Right rear – 4mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid. Inspected tire pressures and depth. Inspected steering and suspension components. Inspected exhaust system condition. NOTE: Found the engine cooling fans drawing too many amps causing the engine rattle noise. Recommend replacing the cooling fan assembly.

    • Road tested vehicle. Performed complete brake system inspection. The following is amount of brake lining remaining: Pads Left front -8mm Right front -8mm Shoes Left rear -4mm Right rear -4mm Inspected brake hydraulic system for leaks, wear and condition of fluid.
    • The technician verified the customers concern. Performed inspection and found the oil filter had been loosened and was leaking oil. The technician removed the filter and inspected the seal. The seal is now questionable. Installed a new oil filter topped off the engine oil and cleaned the area. Test drove the vehicle and rechecked for leaks. none found.
